The mode of action
The Hyperpulse method works with light waves from the yellow wavelength range. This light energy penetrates deeper skin layers without damaging the upper skin layers. During treatment, selective and gentle heating of specific components within the dermis occurs. Collagen-forming cells of the skin can thus be activated to produce a high amount of new collagen and elastin. The overall skin appearance becomes significantly fresher and firmer.
At the same time, disturbing pigment spots and visible, superfluous veins (couperose) disappear. The skin looks more harmonious and youthful again.
The treatment
Standard before every Senzera Skin treatment is a detailed anamnesis, during which we analyze your skin intensively and professionally. Before the actual light treatment, we gently remove annoying, superficial skin flakes from your skin. In this way, the skin is optimally prepared for the light treatment and the light energy can penetrate unhindered. Of course, your eyes will be protected with special laser safety goggles for the duration of the treatment. While the skin expert glides the handpiece of the Hyperpulse device over your skin and emits the light energy, you will feel a slight, well-tolerated warmth. Afterwards, your skin is provided with a cocktail of active ingredients suitable for you. A moisturizing mask completes the treatment. Immediately after the treatment you may experience slight redness, but this will be gone by the next morning at the latest.

Areas of application
Senzera Skin recommendation
Depending on the condition of your skin, we recommend a build-up course of three to five treatments at intervals of two weeks each. After the treatment, the collagen-producing fibers are very active and your skin should continue to be supplied with optimal active ingredients to support the treatment result. Tips for at home
- No sun exposure until 3 days after the treatment.

Remove pigment spots
Dark spots on the face can be a sign of too much sun exposure or signs of aging. The best known pigment disorders are age spots that suddenly appear on the face, hands or décolleté.
These have no function. However, they make our skin appear uneven and our appearance no longer looks as harmonious as it used to. Surveys have shown that dark spots make our face look older than wrinkles.
At Senzera Skin in Cologne and Düsseldorf, we use a variety of special cosmetic methods to remove these disturbing superficial pigmentations. All are preceded by a thorough anamnesis. If it is really a superficial age or sun spot in the skin, we can remove it using light energy.
The melanin, the dark color pigments, of the pigmentary disorders is able to absorb the light and convert it into heat energy. Through the targeted heating of the superfluous pigmentation, the pigment compound is dissolved and the individual cells of the disturbing spot are removed and metabolized through the body’s lymphatic system.
Immediately after the treatment, the stain turns slightly darker and it can take up to two weeks for the stain to be completely gone. There are no scars or white spots.

Remove visible veins
Couperosis or telangiectasias on the face or décolleté are small, superficially located blood vessels. They lie fallow in the skin and have lost their function. They often run through the cheek region like a net, and are also conspicuous on the wings of the nose.
With the special light energy of Hyperpulse, the skin experts at Senzera Skin in Cologne and Düsseldorf can remove your red visible veins.
The red blood pigment, hemaglobin, has the ability to absorb the yellow light and convert it into heat energy. This can obliterate the vessel. Often, the visible veins fade immediately after the treatment, and the redness disappears from your face.
If the vessel has a larger diameter, two to three treatments are needed.
The upper skin layers and the skin areas surrounding the blood vessel remain unaffected by the treatment, because the light is almost exclusively absorbed by the blood vessels and therefore the heating only occurs locally there. Your skin may be slightly red immediately after the treatment. Please avoid direct sunlight or irritating and aggressive peeling procedures afterwards.
Couperose treatments are NOT performed at Senzera Skin in Cologne and Düsseldorf during the summer months.
